Pastor Juana McFarland, MDIV
A little bit about Pastor Juana
I grew up in Chicago, IL. I made a personal profession of faith at age 13 and joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. There I served as Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, wrote and implemented new members training and served as the Local and District director of Christian education. I later attended Northeastern Illinois University where I received a BS in Business Management-Accounting.
I then worked as the Manager of Accounting at the Chicago Public Library. I relocated to Pittsfield, MA. in 1998. I have served God in various capacities such as interim part time pastor, pulpit supply minister, coordinator of prayer ministry, director of singles ministry, Sunday school teacher, Bible teacher, youth sponsor, coordinator of women’s jail ministry, angel tree coordinator, and many more capacities.
I received my Masters of Divinity in 2016 from Oral Roberts University.
My volunteer experience includes; the Berkshire Dream Center, Berkshire County House of Corrections, Valley Head School, The Christian Center, and the Women’s Interfaith Institute of the Berkshires as Treasurer on Board of Directors.
My vision is to love God and to love man. I will do this by preaching the gospel humbly, prayerfully, biblically, expectantly. God laid it upon my heart in 2010 to plant a church after I graduated seminary (ORU) and to name it Unity Fellowship Church. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations . . ..” (Matt 28:19 NLT). Making disciples is not only our commission, but our responsibility.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I graduated with my BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, a Masters of Social Work from Howard University, and a Doctorate of Social Work from Capella University.
I have over fifteen years of experience in health care and mental health. As a Clinical Social Worker and a christian, I use a strength-based and biblical approach to healing families and our community. I believe that everyone brings strengths to the table that can help improve our community here in Berkshire County. My hope at UFCOFBC, is to help develop and heal my community one individual and one family at a time.
